You own more refrigeration
than you think.

Most clubs and pubs we walk through have 40 or more separate pieces of refrigeration. Most operators guess about a dozen. We'll find every one of them, write it all down, and hand you the report to keep.

How it works

Ninety minutes of our time, none of yours wasted. We book it for a quiet trading period and work around your kitchen.

STEP 01

90 minutes on site

We walk the whole venue with you. Coolrooms, bars, cellar, kitchen, function rooms, plant deck. Every unit gets recorded.

STEP 02

No work. No invoice.

We don't touch a thing and we don't quote on the day. This is a survey, not a service call.

STEP 03

The report is yours

A written asset register in plain English, within three business days. Yours to keep and use however you like.

What's in the report

Every single unit on your site gets its own row — including the bar fridge nobody thinks about.

  • Where it is and what it is
  • Make, model, serial and age
  • What refrigerant it runs on
  • Condition rating, 1 to 1010 is new and still under warranty. 1 is not running.
  • Risk rating, 1 to 1010 means you'd barely notice. 1 means you stop trading.
  • How much working life it has left
  • What to do about it, and when

You'll know what fails first

Not a hunch. A number your board can read, understand and budget against.

Your compliance paperwork, done

A written record of every unit and its temperature. Ready the day someone asks for it.

No more surprise capital bills

Replace plant in a planned shutdown, not at 4pm on the Friday of a long weekend.

How we score every unit

Two scales, both out of 10, both applied the same way by every technician on every visit. 1 is bad. 10 is good. Because it's the same scale every year, you can see exactly how a unit is tracking instead of relying on anyone's memory.

Condition

What state the unit is actually in.

12345678910
1 Not running10 Brand new, under warranty

Risk

What it costs you if that unit stops.

1 You stop trading10 You'd barely notice

Put the two together and you get your priority list

A unit that's falling apart and matters badly goes to the top. A brand new unit stays off the list no matter how critical it is, because there's nothing to do about it yet. That's the front page of your report — usually six to ten units out of forty, in order, with what to do about each one.

R404A

Do you have an R404A problem? Most venues don't know.

R404A is being phased down. The gas is getting dearer and harder to get hold of. If your coolrooms or cellar system run on it, replacement is coming whether you've planned for it or not. The audit tells you exactly which units are affected — so it stays a decision you make, instead of one that gets made for you.

“The best service call is the one you never have to make.”

We're not a breakdown company. We keep club and pub refrigeration running so that call never comes.

Questions we get asked

Is it actually free, or is there a catch?

It's free. No invoice, no call-out fee, no obligation. We do it because most venues have never seen their refrigeration written down in one place, and the operators who do see it tend to want us looking after it. If you take the report and never call us again, that's a fair outcome and you've still got the report.

How long does it take and when can you do it?

About 90 minutes on site. We book it for a quiet trading period — usually mid-morning Tuesday to Thursday for a club or pub. Tell us when your kitchen is quietest and we'll work around it.

Will you fix things while you're there?

No. It's a survey, not a service call. If we spot something that needs attention we'll note it in the report and you decide what happens next. Nothing gets touched and nothing gets quoted on the day.

We already have a refrigeration contractor. Is this awkward?

Not at all, and most of our best clients did too. The audit doesn't change your arrangement. It just means you've got an independent second opinion in writing, and you own it either way. We won't say a word against whoever looks after your gear now.

What areas do you cover?

Sydney and greater NSW, from the CBD out through the Hills, Hawkesbury, Blacktown, Penrith and the Blue Mountains. If you're outside that, ring and ask — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right people.

Who sees the report?

You do. It's written in plain English so it can go straight to a board, a committee or a finance manager without translation. We keep a copy on file so that when we come back next year we can show you what's changed.
